As an (obsessed) dog-mom - I found myself constantly frustrated with the lack of products and information that made caring for them easier, approachable and supported their well-being, daily. After spending too much time searching the depths of the internet, I decided to create what I was looking for. So with a team of Vets and dog-lovers alike, we started building what I believe will fundamentally change the way we take care of our pets. We’re here to make life easier for you, so you can get back to doing the things you love with your dog.
Glad you are here,
We work with best-in-class veterinarians to make sure Dandy is at the forefront of pet wellness.
"As an integrative veterinarian, I see wellness care for our little canine ones as a holistic to a healthy and happy life. From puppyhood to the senior fella, there are important considerations at each stage of life. This encompasses far more than vaccines and spay/neuter and focuses more on preventative medicine and well being."
"It takes some forethought and intention, but it is a lot easier to keep a dog happy than to make an unhappy dog well. Ben Franklin was right, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
"Even two dogs with the same condition may have different nutritional needs or benefit from different supplements. So, understanding your pet’s unique needs can help guide the best choices for your pet."
Our goal is to help re-home and save 1 million homeless pets.
After spending time rescuing dogs of our own, we turned to understand the issues that the rescue community and shelters across the U.S face. An estimated 1.5-2 million companion animals are euthanized yearly in shelters in the US - many just because there is not enough space. We’ve partnered with American Pets Alive, a nation-wide educational program to help end the crisis of unnecessary euthanasia across shelters by providing education and protocols to turn shelters and cities into No-Kill communities.
We have given every Dandy customer the opportunity to join us on this mission by adding a $1 per month donation that goes directly back to AmPA’s life-saving initiatives.
